Chartiers Valley Shopping Center is a Bridgeville staple, boasting a variety of retail stores and specialty shops. The shopping center is a high-traffic area located less than a mile from Interstate 79. As we said, Bridgeville is a breath of fresh air, and its residents enjoy getting out and exploring the area’s wide-open spaces. The borough has several public parks, including Triangle, Cook School, and McLaughlin. Chartiers Park is one of the most popular parks in the area, with picnic tables, a playground, and a walking trail running alongside the creek.
Quality education
Bridgeville is served by the Chartiers Valley School District—a school district encompassing four local communities with a combined population of approximately 30,000 residents. CVSD has a student body of about 3,400 students, including one primary school, intermediate school, middle school, and high school.
The school district’s rigorous high school curriculum has yielded impressive results—a 98% graduation rate, $1.5 million in scholarships earned by the Class of 2019, and an average SAT score of 1100 to name a few.
