We Focus on Families Moving to Pittsburgh

If you’ve ever visited my Pittsburgh real estate website, it’s easy to see I enjoy helping families buy and sell homes in the Washington County area. I even asked our real estate marketing partner Dakno Marketing to design a family-friendly Pittsburgh online resource that included easy to use MLS property search tools, articles and even added an adorable character named “RELOso kids moving with mom and dad could ask questions about buying and selling Pittsburgh real estate. It’s all about providing families the meaningful resources to make their move to Pittsburgh much easier.

The First Family of Fireworks is From Pittsburgh!

Speaking of families, with the 4th of July holiday only days away, it seemed appropriate to mention the first family of fireworks - the Zambelli family. The Zambelli family is from Pittsburgh and they have been a major part of 4th of July celebrations all across America for many years.

The First Zambelli to Move to New Castle

Antonio Zambelli immigrated to America in 1893 and soon became a New Castle resident where four generations later, the Zambelli family are known for their highflying aerial bombastic displays of color and boom. Each year the first family of fireworks coordinates over 3500 fireworks shows. Firework shells the size of tennis balls to basketballs are launched upward of 1500 feet to the oohs and aahs of crowds all across the nation. Starting with JFK, every US President has witnessed a Zambelli firework display.

Pittsburgh Families - Be Safe!

In case you are not aware, local Pittsburgh authorities will be on the lookout for anyone using illegal fireworks. Those items that are classified by the city of Pittsburgh as illegal include any firework that is launched into the air (a.k.a. - bottle rockets) as well as exploding firecrackers. These items can cause personal injury as well as property damage. To discourage use of illegal fireworks, authorities will be doling out fines of $1000.

From our family to yours, have a safe and enjoyable 4th of July,

As always treating you like family,

Jim
