In case you don’t recall, our beloved Penguins hockey club once teetered on the brink of bankruptcy and came close to moving to Kansas City. With the building of this new stadium, the Penguins will remain in Pittsburgh for the next 30 years.

What Priority Does Sports “Play” in Your Relocation Choices?

There is no doubt sports (amateur and professional) plays an important role in our lives (young and old). While I understand there are far more important aspects of a move that come into play (sorry for the bad pun!), many families do consider what an area has to offer in amenities for their kids sports team involvement. Facilities like quality ice skating rink, pools, parks, gyms, playgrounds and team sports facilities are something to keep in mind when considering a real estate purchase or when relocating to any new Pittsburgh area.
