Nordstrom Opening First Store in the Pittsburgh Area Soon

Located about 40 minutes (20 miles) north of Peters Township, Pittsburgh’s first Nordstrom department store will be opening in late October at the Ross Park Mall. If you have ever shopped at a Nordstrom you have experienced what many consider the finest customer service a retailer can deliver. I happen to like the style of custom service this retail department store is recognized for delivering. By-the-way, if think you can measure up to the high standards of customer service Nordstrom is recognized for, they are hiring 250 employees for their new Pittsburgh store located at the Ross Park Mall.

A Different Shopping Experience!

In our age, we want everything microwave fast and businesses are “rushing” headlong to speed us along! Make a purchase at most retail establishments and the clerk will simply hand you your package with the receipt inside. At Nordstrom, sales consultants are trained to “meticulously wrap” your purchase plus place your receipt in a special envelop then step out from behind the cash register to present you your purchase and your receipt. That’s customer service with style! It makes a positive statement and sets the standard many retailers strive to mimic. I don’t know about you but it’s the little things that Nordstrom does that impresses me!
