In case you missed it, CENTURY 21 has been taking tremendous strides recently to ramp up its exposure particularly to a new segment of home buyers. Obvious areas C-21 has focused on recently is in its TV ad campaign and updates to its website. One of the lines I really like from the TV ad is the one that says “CENTURY 21 is Your Web Address for Your New Home Address.” This coupled with the recent total revamp of the corporate website is exciting. Using traditional media like TV coupled with investment in new media is important for our franchise to remain viable and competitive. Plus, our franchise needs to be speaking to a new audience - those younger buyers who are members of the Gen Y and Gen X generations.

Communicating with Gen Y and Gen X Pittsburgh Home Buyers

In the next several years, a flood of new will be buying homes at a much earlier age than any previous generation. Plus, now href=”http://www.jimdolanch.com/buyerfirst.php” target=”_blank”>there are more members of the Gen Y (Millennials” or “Echo Boomers”) generation in existence than other generation (Classics and Boomers). How Pittsburgh real estate agents communicate with these younger buyers is really important.

Meeting the Needs of a New Generation of Pittsburgh Home Buyers

This new breed of tech-centric Gen Y and Gen X home buying consumers are accustom to using text messaging, actively surfing the web, mobile computing and blogging. These tech-savvy buyers crave their tech tools and their social networks. That’s why it’s important my agents here at the Jim Dolanch and team (and the greater CENTURY 21 organization in general) need to meet these smart buyers on their terms in their environment.
