Shopping, dining, entertainment, services… Mt. Lebanon has them all! Its central business district is Uptown, one of the larger commercial areas outside of Pittsburgh and home to a variety of boutiques, shops, galleries, and restaurants. Plus, there are seasonal festivals, weekly farmers markets, First Fridays, and plenty of other events to enjoy. It’s not the only commercial district, though. There are plenty more businesses along Beverly Road, Castle Shannon Blvd, Cochran Road, and at the Galleria Mall.
Parks & Recreation
Home to over 200 acres of parkland stretched between 15 beautiful local parks, Mt. Lebanon is a great place to get outside and enjoy some activity. The Mt. Lebanon School District is home to 10 public schools, seven elementary, two middle, and one high school, and is nationally recognized for its top academic performance. In fact, Mt. Lebanon High School, a National Blue Ribbon School, is one of 24 non-private secondary schools in the nation that belongs to the prestigious Cum Laude Society.
