North Strabane might be a small and mostly-rural community, but it’s home to a few of its own attractions and amenities, such as local shopping and dining options. It’s also home to the Meadows Racetrack & Casino—one of the largest casino floors on the East Coast—and Lindenwood Golf Club—a 27-hole championship course considered to be one of the most scenic public courses in the area. In addition to its pristine course, Lindenwood also offers practice facilities such as a driving range, putting green, and sand bunker, a pro shop, and golf lessons.

Education in North Strabane

North Strabane Township is served by the Canon-McMillan School District, which combines Canonsburg, Cecil Township, and North Strabane into a unified educational district. There are 11 elementary, middle, and high schools within the district, many of which have received excellent academic ratings by GreatSchools. The overall rating of the district is a 9/10!
